The Plan is a training plan specifically designed for YOU. We will create a plan that fits best into your schedule and provide all the details of each workout.   The plan length will vary depending on the distance of the race you are doing and what your goals are for the race will be determined through some questionnaires and a consultation. This option is geared towards athletes that want a customized plan, but don’t feel the need to have someone looking over their shoulder throughout, reviewing their workouts, or developing race strategies for their races:

Full Coaching Services

The “Full Coaching” option will provide you with everything you need in preparation for your race. This includes the training plan and unlimited communication with your coach. Whether you have questions about a workout, need to adjust the plan to fit in a change in your normal schedule, have a question about nutrition during training, or any other issues you may have, your PTC coach will be there for you. We will provide you with all the tools, both physically and mentally, to achieve your race goals. Here are the details of everything included in this package:

  • Extensive evaluation of lifestyle and daily habits to develop the right plan for you
  • Review of previous training, results, and determining strengths & weaknesses
  • Determination of realistic goals and how to achieve them
  • Help planning your race schedule
  • Detailed Training plan made specifically for you including:

Private & Group Lessons

PTC Coaches are available for group private lessons. We offer lessons for swimming, biking, running, and strength group training. Whether you’re looking for help just for yourself or a group, our coaches can give you the attention you need to help you improve. Previous sessions have included: open water swim sessions, private swim lessons, group training rides or runs, seminars on a topic of your choice, or anything in between. Pricing varies depending what exactly you’re looking for.

Weekly Nutrition & Wellness Coaching

This highly personalized, 1v1 program provides analysis and recommendations on the critical performance topics of: sleep, nutrition from a macro and micronutrient stand point, as well as
raining load and stress management & “stress budget” and recovery. Assessment of daily food logs, recent blood work, current day to day nutrition as well as fueling options are all topics covered on our weekly phone calls of 30 minutes. These calls are scheduled in advance and done at the same time and day each week. Together we set long term and short term goals in the critical performance areas of sleep, nutrition, training, stress management and recovery and track progress through a collaborative online Google Drive spreadsheet. This is ideal for those needing to evolve their nutrition and overall wellness throughout the year to match their athletic goals and those needing to tweak and fine tune their fueling and recovery strategies based on a building training schedule. The improvements found though this process are not only applicable to training and racing but living your life to the fullest extent possible from a health and wellness perspective.
This offering, because of the focus on weekly agreed upon, manageable changes and the habituation of them, provides the greatest opportunity for life-long improvements.

Kick Start Consult

The “Kick Start Consult” is a quick, easy and cost effective way to jump start you’re nutritional and fueling evolution. Clients will log the timing and quantity of food, beverage, and fueling (with correlated workouts) intake for 5 days of food/beverage/workouts/fueling products and time of day. This log will be assessed and specific recommendations regarding better day to day food choices as well as optimal fueling & timing of fueling will be made during the phone consultation. Information regarding Water Consumption, Taming Inflammation and Fueling &Timing will also be provided. This includes a 60 minute phone call and all recommendations & information will be shared online via a Google Drive Spreadsheet.

Race Fueling Plan

This critical path component includes: sweat test instructions and feedback, Race Fueling plan for agreed upon race distances (3) and is customized to each individual’s sodium, fluid and carbohydrate needs. Also included are detailed instructions on what fuel to take in when and how much. Pre-race week carb loading and race day breakfast outlined as well.

Strength & Endurance Testing Services

Bike Test and Analysis – Bike

Come to the PTC training center for a bike test and spin stroke analysis. The test will include the actual test on a CompuTrainer and a determination of your heart rate and/or power training zones. We will also have you spend some time in the spin scan mode to evaluate and assist you with improving your cycling stroke. 

Run Gate Analysis – Run

Come to the PTC training center for a run gate analysis. Proper running form is critical to getting faster and more importantly, injury prevention. A video analysis of your run form will help us to improve your run form.
